I am a wedding and family photographer located near Sacramento, California, and while I love meeting new brides and grooms and babies, I am always and forever enamoured with photographing my own family. I love adventuring with my boys, spending time outdoors, lounging by the pool, and traveling anywhere anytime. I will never say no to a trip, even if it's just down the street to grab a coffee with friends. If you want to find me in my favorite spots, look for me camping in my rooftop tent, climbing mountains, hiding out in a hot spring in the desert, or warming my hands around a campfire with a mountain range looming high above. Sometimes you can find me in the gym, downward-dogging and throwing some barbells around, or curled up on the couch catching up on Game of Thrones. Photography gives us all the opportunity to remember forever the way our families are right now, since we all know time really flies with kids, getting a camera out as often as I can is insanely important to me. On the days I actually open my sleep-deprived eyes and really really look at my boys and realize how fast they are growing up, I catch my breath and treasure all of the candid images I have taken of them over the years. Taking a documentary approach with my clients and my own family results in fun, free, and really naturally authentic images I will fondly look back on forever. Life is wild and I'm along for the ride (some days barely hanging on, but who's counting) and photography gives me the gift of reliving the time I get with my family.
